Reunión de investigadores expertos en virus ARN humanos

801-B5-782

Description of the event objectives

The Workshop is dedicated to bridging the gap between recent advances in biochemistry and molecular biology of human RNA viruses and the needs of those most affected by these viral diseases in icgeb member countries. the topics of the workshop will be: influenza virus, dengue fever, hcv, tick-borne encephalitis virus, rotavirus, sars and emerging coronaviruses. life cycle, replication strategies, host-virus interactions, immunity, vaccination strategies, diagnostics, therapy.

In this workshop we provide an overview of several aspects concerning the biology of rna viruses as well as aspects of diagnosis, vaccine development and therapy through state-of-the-art lectures from experts in the field. furthermore, we also intend to provide a forum for scientists from icgeb member states to present their findings and get an expert opinion in an international environment.
